I do! I was elected onto the board of an amazing organization this year. The Woodhull Sexual Freedom Alliance. The board is made up of super awesome people and I feel so honored to be apart of this. The reason I am writing this post is because we are having our yearly fundraiser and I really want as many of you to come as possible. It’s September 21-23 in Washington D.C.
Trust me I know the economy sucks and money is tight. But let me tell you this. The event is probably one of the most important if you value your sexual freedom. I am honored to give my time and to put my money where my mouth is. I could not do what I do if there was not sexual freedom in our country. I could not be out there spreading my message of “love your body no matter what others tell you.”
Think about it.What if they took your sexual rights away? Really think about it. That would really suck! I am telling you that there are people out there who do not want us to be sexually free. They do not like us or what we stand for. If we do not fight back there will be no more “Man with a pussy” or any other kind of gender freedom allowed in our country, yes OUR country!
So please read this and really if you can’t join us if you can just give 5 bucks that would be so amazing and it would go such a long way. Thank you all for always supporting me it means the world to me!
Sexual Freedom is under attack and we are marshaling our forces and planning our strategies to defeat those who seek to limit our fundamental human rights. Join us as we reject a culture of sexual shame and claim our right to sexual freedom and health!
“Prohibition Politics: The Assault on Sexual Freedom,” the focus of this year’s educational event, will highlight the increasingly vicious attacks in the resurgent war on sex. We will share information and strategies to use in the fight for human rights and sexual freedom, and against the denial of the right to relationships and families of our choosing. We will address the undermining of access to health care and reduction of access to comprehensive sexuality education, as well as the criminalization of sexual expression and pleasure.
Comprehensive sex ed, reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, sex worker rights, First Amendment sexual expression, family rights are all fundamental human rights. We must unify as a movement to understand our commonalities and strategize for a cultural and political defense of adult consensual sexual expression! The rightwing is fiercely organized; we need to rally together as a community of sex activists in defense of pleasure.
